Rugby shirts and rugby jerseys
Originally rugby shirts were made of cotton and were only long sleeve. Rugby shirts are worn by both rugby players and supporters as casual wear as rugby jerseys are hard wearing and comfortable.
As rugby became professional rugby shirts have changed to more modern material as with other professional sports. Rugby jerseys now tend to have more polyester in them so they don't tear as easily as cotton and don't retain the moisture on wet days. The modern rugby shirts also "breath" so they disipate the players sweat and keep players cool.
Many of the international rugby shirts, like the All Blacks rugby shirts, now come without collars and are tight fitting so it is difficult to grab hold of them in a game. Rugby jerseys can now also be made in a greater range of colours and patterns.
We offer rugby shirts for almost every occasion. We have international rugby jerseys for teams like the All Blacks, Wallabies, England and Vanuatu. Plus rugby shirts for competitions like the Super 14, Tri Nations and 6 Nations.
